Day 4 week 2 Summer Learning Journey

Hey bloggers, i'm back with another interesting Summer Learning Journey post. I had to read through seven Whakatauki (proverbs or Metaphors) presented in a document. I had to choose one of the meanings for me. I had to create a poster that features the Whakatauki that features an image on the poster that represents
that Whakatauki that i chose. I kind of don't get it but heres what I
Think what the text meant.
I chose the first text of the site that said Whakataukī are used in a range of contexts in Māori such as whaikōrero to support the speaker in making a point, a statement, aligning the present with the wisdom of tīpuna/ tūpuna. I think
this picture represented the meanings of the text. Here are some photos and blog ya later with another Summer Learning Journey

Day 3 week 2 Summer Learning Journey

Welcome back bloggers with another Summer Learning Journey  blog post. In today's one we are choosing which women in New Zealand would replace Kate Sheppard who sadly did at Christchurch, wanna hear the whole story type her name and go on Wikipedia! besides that a replacement on her famous $10 note. Don't judge because I decided to choose this person, This is her full name Dame Valerie Kasanita Adams but her name for short is Valerie Adams. She is known for shot put and thats one of my reasons why i choose her because of her strength, she could easily knock knock someone out with just a fist. Another reason why I chose her is because she is a good sport when playing. Another reason is because she is thankful for what she gets and is vert grateful like me. Well in the Summer Learning Journey text it said just a small explanation but who cares(someone)

Well i'm gonna end this for now bloggers, blog ya later with another fun Summer Learning Journey!

Day 2 week 2 Summer Learning Journey

Holidays are here! and here comes another Summer Learning Journey post about Mr Mandela. We had imagine we were Mr Mandela and we were living in Robben island prison and I have been given a journal each night in jail.
I had to imagine what Mr Mandela did each day and jail and how he feels about it on the island. I think he would say in the journal that he would miss his family if he has one. He would also say that he feels alone and lonely because obviously he's in jail! He would also feel depressed and sad because he might as well miss something that means something to him. I think he would also be
quiet loud in jail since he is alone. I think he would look out the window if there is one and try to find a way out. I think He wouldn't get away with it and remember this is my story not yours! Well thats all it  said bloggers comment and say your             opinion of what you would do. See ya with another Summer Learning Journey post when I see you again!

Day 1 week 2 Summer Learning Journey

Buenos dias bloggers otherwise good evening or good afternoon, Yay another new week of the Summer Learning Journey activity!
Today we are taking photos of 5 favourite things we like to do or I should say when we are bored, Just like our hobbies.
My 5 favourite stuff to do is Draw or sketch but I would say art, The 2nd thing In love to do is sleep because I fact I learned from my dad is that the longer you sleep the taller and smarter your get. I don't believe that.
The 3rd thing I like doing is dancing and singing so I can be fit and obviously show off. And singing because it can calm me down. I can also get a groove on!
The 4th thing I love to do is definitely sports like Rugby, Soccer, Badminton and more.
The last thing I love to do is play a lot of roblox, Please don't hate because I am obsessed with it. My favourite games are bloxburg, Murderer mystery sorry for violence of the game, and my absolute favourite adopt me. This was very fun to do especially the photos. The sports one was just tennis ball, Sorry because It was raining outside. Now see ya with another blog bloggers and blog you later!

End of the week Summer Learning journey

Hallelujah, the holidays are here now and now I can relax. But I'm sad because I will be missing my friends. Today I saw on the site of the Summer Learning Journey that we got to do an extra challenge, but to me is not even challenging. The activity was I got to choose I sportsperson out of 7 people named
Jessica Watson, Tanielu Tele'a, Sachin Tendulkar , Ann Bancroft, Kelly Slater,  Tamatea and Laura Dekker. I decided to pick Tanielu Tele'a since he is a Rugby Union player, One of the work he do's is obviously play Rugby for his fans and family. He has just join the team blues this year 2019. One of his work of impact on his life is nothing really because he is new to his team and he just joined in 2019. Sorry Summer Learning Journey if I didn't look properly on the internet. Well It was fun choosing Tanielu Tele'a and blog you later bloggers

Day 5 Summer Learning Journey

Yay, sorry if this Summer Learning Journey is making this boring for you bloggers, I just want to win so many prizes.  I am blogging about 3 treasures that I treasure. One of them is probably all kinds of books, like drawing books, reading books, colouring books and more. I like books because they are special with facts about the topic, another reason is because if your bored you could read or draw in it like I do at home. The second treasure thing that means to me is the violin because I use to like the sound it makes, I didn't wanna really tell anyone but now my secret is not safe and exposed. I use to play it but know I forgot about it because I have other more important things me and my family need to do. The last thing that is special to only me is clothes because who would want to be naked, disgusting its also feels good in a sensible way, Well I also love my family and they are special to me so don't forget that and blog ya later bloggers!

Day 4 Summer Learning Journey

Another blog about the summer learning journey. I just want to come 3rd 2nd or 1st, that would be wonderful. Today I am posting a blog about two famous siblings who play tennis. I had to watch a video and I have learned 3 new facts about them. One of my facts about them in the video is that there were one of the women top earning famous athletes, I was so surprised! The second fact I learned from the clip is Venus Williams ranks fifth among  highest paid women athletes. The third fact that I learned is nothing really but I learned that they play tennis together and are both sisters. The last question that I was suppose to answer was what would you like to know about these people, well I want to know who starting playing tennis first and what wanted to make you be together in it.

Well sorry for this long blog bloggers, Blog ya later with another Summer Learning Journey post.

Day 3 Summer Learning Journey

Hey and welcome back bloggers. In this blog i'm doing another Summer Learning  Journey about team players. If we had superpowers we got to decide which superpowers suited us in a game. I wanted to choose invisibility so no one could see me, the second one would be speed so anyone couldn't catch up to me just see my speed lines.  The last both super powers I want in a Rugby game is invisibility so I never die and anyone won't touch me with their filthy hands, and the last super power I want is flying just because I want to see annoying seagulls and more birds. Well I had fun writing and choosing some super powers, I will see you later bloggers blog you later!

CHOIR!
Hey bloggers, on the 26th of November our school choir had our final night singing all the songs at the town hall. There were more then four hundred children sitting on stage. There were there conductors. Our wonderful deputy principal Miss Mcgrath, Miss mountcussle and Mr Lambert.  At the night there were soloists and drummers, we were also surprised by the amazing kapa haka group, instrument  group and the fabulous violin group.

After the long day we had a rest, There were also fun athletics zones days it was tiring but worth it. Well thats it for today bloggers see ya and  blog ya later!

Athletics day

Hey bloggers, on Tuesday the 19th of November we had athletics. We were divided into our age group and sent of on a rotation. The activities were meter run, fun relays, tennis, shot put, long jump, hurdles and more. At each station was a challenge, either jump, run, work together and teamwork. We each got points for our sportsmanship and behaviour. We had breaks and had a lot of fun. I felt very excited and happy about athletics and my favourite one was long jump and the house relays at the end of the day. The houses were included with birds, green for pukeko, red for kea, yellow for tui and blue for ruru.

Whoever won the relay
