Kiwisport

                           Kiwi Sport
Bonjour bloggers, on Tuesday the 22nd  some senior students went down to Hillsborough Primary school to do fun activities and have a lot of fun. The were 6 activities hoopla, scatter ball, T ball, non stop cricket, rob the nest and the funniest one was tug of war. Last year we did win every activity except for tug of war. But this year we just had fun and won some great activities. There were 2 schools in each activities, Mrs Law came to join us and about 2 - 3 leaders were leading the game. In hoopla there were 2 teams, one was running from the taggers and the other teams were the taggers but in the hoops. If you were a tagger you would of tagged the other person in the team well the other team can go in between the hoops but the tagger can tag another person in their team to try to get the runner out.
In scatter ball there are 2 teams again, one team throws three balls and the other teams are the fielders who try to catch or get the ball.  In non stop cricket the fielders have to catch the ball and grab it when the other team has to hit the ball and pass it on to the next person. In T ball you have to hit the ball and run to each base when the other team has to watch their eye on the ball and try to get the batter out.  In rob the nest you have to grab the toys in the middle then rob other peoples nest, you have to try and get the most toys.

And lastly tug of war you have to get the ribbon to your side of the rope and pull as hard as you can to try to win. We lost but still had a lot of fun. Well thats it for today bloggers blog you later!

Another Choir rehersal

                                   Choir Rehersal
Hello bloggers, on Thursday 17th the senior choir students went to walk down to Waikowhai Intermediate for a whole day of choir rehearsal. Mr Lambert was our conductor, plus Miss McGrath. We were split with the A sides and B sides. There were many schools and a lot of fun songs to learn. We practiced high notes small notes and more. We look at Mr Lambert to see his actions to be quiet, loud or medium. My favorite song from choir is the Les Miserable medley because of the sounds and echos and also there were a lot of emotions with the song. We had a lovely piano player and a lot of feedback.

I had a lot of fun and what I learnt from choir was making small noises compared to the loud sounds. What was challenging was pronouncing the words and learning the long songs, eg. Les Miserable. It was exciting meeting new schools and learning the songs. I think we need to work on being in time and standing still in the Town Hall.
Well I hope you enjoyed today's post bloggers
