about the end of the week challenge of week 2! It is similar to the last end of the week. I had to choose a character and i decided to choose Jane Fonda, a American actress she is in at least 49 one of her movies which is better for kids to watch is Elena and The secret of Avalor she is the villain... well not in real life. Since she is an actress you could go see one of her movies. I am confused with this question so im gonna say it with what my brain thinks. So Jane Fonda acts on a lot of movies` so maybe she should compare other movies and not just stick to one, she should act and more childhood movies not the old adult movies. Well thats it for today bloggers see ya with another Summer learning journey blog !Tuesday, 28 January 2020

Day 5 week 2 S. L. J
Hey bloggers and welcome back to a Summer Learning Journey post! sorry I haven't blogged in a while we were busy with Christmas and Boxing Day. I had tuns of fun building Gingerbread houses but on to the real work! I am on week 2 day 5 and the challenge for today is to write 5 ways we could support the people who are affected by the fires, especially in Australia! My first thing by supporting the fires in other countries is making sure they have a house in case they don't have the materials, maybe like letting them move in! sound creepy right but its kind to do! The second thing i was wondering to do is sending them to other countries so they are safe there, Just not South Wales and Victoria. The third thing I would like to do is give them old reusable clothing's or leftover pillows and blankets plus the fourth one is donating money OF Course.
The last one that i was thinking was similar to the fourth reason like selling materials and food then donate the money to the people in Victoria South Wales and Australia. Thanks for listening to my long reasons and a tip for the firefighters is spread out in different places in groups and sorry poor Kangaroo island! Now blog ya later bloggers!!!!!

Day 4 week 2 Summer Learning Journey
Hey bloggers, i'm back with another interesting Summer Learning Journey post. I had to read through seven Whakatauki (proverbs or Metaphors) presented in a document. I had to choose one of the meanings for me. I had to create a poster that features the Whakatauki that features an image on the poster that representsthat Whakatauki that i chose. I kind of don't get it but heres what I
Think what the text meant.
I chose the first text of the site that said Whakataukī are used in a range of contexts in Māori such as whaikōrero to support the speaker in making a point, a statement, aligning the present with the wisdom of tīpuna/ tūpuna. I think
this picture represented the meanings of the text. Here are some photos and blog ya later with another Summer Learning Journey

Day 3 week 2 Summer Learning Journey
Welcome back bloggers with another Summer Learning Journey blog post. In today's one we are choosing which women in New Zealand would replace Kate Sheppard who sadly did at Christchurch, wanna hear the whole story type her name and go on Wikipedia! besides that a replacement on her famous $10 note. Don't judge because I decided to choose this person, This is her full name Dame Valerie Kasanita Adams but her name for short is Valerie Adams. She is known for shot put and thats one of my reasons why i choose her because of her strength, she could easily knock knock someone out with just a fist. Another reason why I chose her is because she is a good sport when playing. Another reason is because she is thankful for what she gets and is vert grateful like me. Well in the Summer Learning Journey text it said just a small explanation but who cares(someone)
Well i'm gonna end this for now bloggers, blog ya later with another fun Summer Learning Journey!

Holidays are here! and here comes another Summer Learning Journey post about Mr Mandela. We had imagine we were Mr Mandela and we were living in Robben island prison and I have been given a journal each night in jail.
I had to imagine what Mr Mandela did each day and jail and how he feels about it on the island. I think he would say in the journal that he would miss his family if he has one. He would also say that he feels alone and lonely because obviously he's in jail! He would also feel depressed and sad because he might as well miss something that means something to him. I think he would also be
quiet loud in jail since he is alone. I think he would look out the window if there is one and try to find a way out. I think He wouldn't get away with it and remember this is my story not yours! Well thats all it said bloggers comment and say your opinion of what you would do. See ya with another Summer Learning Journey post when I see you again!

The 4th thing I love to do is definitely sports like Rugby, Soccer, Badminton and more.

The last thing I love to do is play a lot of roblox, Please don't hate because I am obsessed with it. End of the week Summer Learning journey
Hallelujah, the holidays are here now and now I can relax. But I'm sad because I will be missing my friends. Today I saw on the site of the Summer Learning Journey that we got to do an extra challenge, but to me is not even challenging. The activity was I got to choose I sportsperson out of 7 people named
Jessica Watson, Tanielu Tele'a, Sachin Tendulkar , Ann Bancroft, Kelly Slater, Tamatea and Laura Dekker. I decided to pick Tanielu Tele'a since he is a Rugby Union player, One of the work he do's is obviously play Rugby for his fans and family. He has just join the team blues this year 2019. One of his work of impact on his life is nothing really because he is new to his team and he just joined in 2019. Sorry Summer Learning Journey if I didn't look properly on the internet. Well It was fun choosing Tanielu Tele'a and blog you later bloggers

Day 5 Summer Learning Journey

Yay, sorry if this Summer Learning Journey is making this boring for you bloggers, I just want to win so many prizes. I am blogging about 3 treasures that I treasure. One of them is probably all kinds of books, like drawing books, reading books, colouring books and more. I like books because they are special with facts about the topic, another reason is because if your bored you could read or draw in it like I do at home. The second treasure thing that means to me is the violin because I use to like the sound it makes, I didn't wanna really tell anyone but now my secret is not safe and exposed. I use to play it but know I forgot about it because I have other more important things me and my family need to do. The last thing that is special to only me is clothes because who would want to be naked, disgusting its also feels good in a sensible way, Well I also love my family and they are special to me so don't forget that and blog ya later bloggers!Day 4 Summer Learning Journey
Another blog about the summer learning journey. I just want to come 3rd 2nd or 1st, that would be wonderful. Today I am posting a blog about two famous siblings who play tennis. I had to watch a video and I have learned 3 new facts about them. One of my facts about them in the video is that there were one of the women top earning famous athletes, I was so surprised! The second fact I learned from the clip is Venus Williams ranks fifth among highest paid women athletes. The third fact that I learned is nothing really but I learned that they play tennis together and are both sisters. The last question that I was suppose to answer was what would you like to know about these people, well I want to know who starting playing tennis first and what wanted to make you be together in it.Well sorry for this long blog bloggers, Blog ya later with another Summer Learning Journey post.

Day 3 Summer Learning Journey
Hey and welcome back bloggers. In this blog i'm doing another Summer Learning Journey about team players. If we had superpowers we got to decide which superpowers suited us in a game. I wanted to choose invisibility so no one could see me, the second one would be speed so anyone couldn't catch up to me just see my speed lines. The last both super powers I want in a Rugby game is invisibility so I never die and anyone won't touch me with their filthy hands, and the last super power I want is flying just because I want to see annoying seagulls and more birds. Well I had fun writing and choosing some super powers, I will see you later bloggers blog you later!

Hey bloggers, on Tuesday the 19th of November we had athletics. We were divided into our age group and sent of on a rotation. The activities were meter run, fun relays, tennis, shot put, long jump, hurdles and more. At each station was a challenge, either jump, run, work together and teamwork. We each got points for our sportsmanship and behaviour. We had breaks and had a lot of fun. I felt very excited and happy about athletics and my favourite one was long jump and the house relays at the end of the day. The houses were included with birds, green for pukeko, red for kea, yellow for tui and blue for ruru.

Big foot Biking
Hey bloggers , on Thursday the 28th our class Hauraki had our turn learning how to ride a bike. First we had to learn the different types of material on the bikes, the bike coaches taught us how to be seen when your on the road with a bike. After that we put our helmets on and learned how to put it on and keep it tight on our head, especially the forehead.
The the coaches told us what size of a bike we could have, then we rounded around the courts high fiving the coaches and went around each corner signalling with our hands. A while later we played a lot of fun games. The first game was in the box, you had to ride your bikes inside the box and not put your feet of the pedal or you were out or ride out side the outline of the box.
Then we played around the courts with our bikes for free time and have fun. After we had prize giving and got free pencils and a bike badge. We had a fun time and I learned how to balance on the bike. We had a lot of fun riding with bikes and learning to tricks and games. Blog you later!

High Jump
Welcome back bloggers,
on sunny days the whole senior syndicate practices doing sports such as High Jump, Long jump, Sprints, Meter race, Shot put and more! At each activities we have 15 minutes at each. At High jump you obviously have to stand behind the cone and scissor kick or dive over the pole.
At long jump you stand at a certain point and run then land on the sand, The teacher will keep track of whos winning. In shot put you have a solid hard ball, You all have to stand in line and through the ball as far as you can. On the tiring sprints there are 5 - 6 lanes, you have to stand in your lane and run to the end. If you cross lanes you are disqualified.
At the meter race you have to run like 400 or 800 meters than run back and go one more time. And the last final race at the end will be included in the real athletics day.

Creative fun
Creative Fun
Hello bloggers, this week we did fun activities for the whole morning, there were nine activities Making butter, Origami frog, Marshmallow maths, Pavement art, Lego scene, Plasticine character, Plaudough insect and paper planes. At each station there were clear instructions, my favourite activity was the Pavement art because of the cool colours and blending. In the Marshmallow maths you had to pair up and make the tallest tower. In the Pavement art we have to draw on concrete and blend the colours in with your drawing. In cutting patterns you have to fold the paper and cut different shapes out, if you open the paper all the sides will be simaliar and have the same patterns.
On making butter we just had to get cream and put it in the cup and shake until it separated. In paper air planes all you have to do is fold the paper and follow the instructions. On Plasticine character you just have to make something with clay as well as play dough insect just with play dough.
I had fun and learned how to make a lot of things, Well thats it for today bloggers, blog you later

Cultural people and garden opening
Opening

Hello my lovely bloggers, on Monday near the afternoon we had a very exciting opening and a new song. We first practices the songs a few times then sat outside in our house groups to sing our lovely new song for the beautiful garden. After that the oldest person in the school to the youngest had to cut the ribbon together and finally open the garden. In the garden was the shimmering stones and the wonderful path way to the seat of friendship. The most special thing that was in the garden was the kowhai tree to remember all the victims who past away in Christchurch.

After the beautiful garden we moved and sat near the amazing cultural people designs that were covered up with purple sheets. They called up two students from each class to come up and pull of the sheet to show their incredible design. There were twenty cultural people and in order were the New Zealand girl, berm boy, Taiwan girl, Latin American girl, Fijian boy, Afghanistan boy, Samoan girl, New Zealand boy, South African boy, Coco island boy, Malaysian girl, Niue girl, China boy, Maori girl/ Aotearoa, Indian girl, Iranian boy, Pakistan boy, Tongan boy, Sri Lanka girl and last be not least Maori boy.

I loved the cultural people and the garden and I hope you enjoyed reading and looking at all the picture, Blog you later!

Beach Clean
Beach clean
Hey bloggers, in term 3 at the end of the term the hole senior syndicate went down to Waikowhai Bay to collect rubbish. We did this for climate change to help save the earth and animals. We walked down chanting with our signs and arrived at the beach. We split into groups of 4 - 6 and picked up rubbish with an adult. Each child and adult got gloves and separated in different places of the beach We were the group who was on the main surface of the beach picking up rubbish near us. Our goal was to find small and tiny rubbish, Especially the ones that animals can spot.
We had large bags and found a lot of crabs behind rocks. What I found was some bras and some undies, I was very interested with who did it and who left it there. After the long day we took a photo then we headed back for a delicious Ice block, then we finally went home.
Today's blog done guys blog you later!
