Summer Learning Journey activate 2

Hi bloggers,Another Summer Learning Journey activate we have to do.This activate is about all different sports in 2792.There were lots of different activates in 2792 especially running events.In the activate we had to pick a sport and why we had to pick it.
 heres what I sport I will choose and why,

If I had a favourite sport it would be doegeball because when know ones not looking you can hit them,well not in the face cause that will mean game over also i like it because there can be more than 2 teams playing.
and this is why I don't like doegeball I love it.

New classes

Hi bloggers,its me Callum and today our whole school was checking their new class for 2019 but not the year six's. Some people had moved to different classes and some are still in the same class. All of the teachers had moved into different classes as well as their stuff. The children had met their teacher for next year and as well as the students. We played a game so that everybody in our class had known everybody.My teacher is Mrs sands as well as Miss McGrath
I can't wait for next year its going to be the best.

Summer Learning Journey

Hi bloggers,Today my school is doing a summer learning journey all about the environment.Megan came in to our school and talked about the summer learning
journey.There are  60 activities to complete and one we are doing for practice.We have to find a country and write about it.Well I chose Australia because you can see the fun animals that you've never seen in New Zealand.Three facts about Australia is there are three times a sheep than people living in Australia,wombat poo is shaped like cube! and the record jump by a kangaroo is 9 metres(30 feet)in a single leap. We did a bonus Activate,the last thing we had to do for the activate was to write a letter to a family member or friend and tell them which country your visiting of your country of choice.
Here what I wanted to write         LETTER

Dear family and friends I want to visit Australia for 2 weeks because I want to see all the animals and the fancy and cool cars and also Sydney Australia.I want to see my uncle and aunt and shore Mrs price, I'm shore you want to come to with me to Australia.

Pacific Peter Pan

Pacific Peter Pan

In term 4 week 4 we had a production called peter pan
the characters were peter pan, shadow, Wendy, john and Michel, dad, mum, Nana, captain hook and cook, princess lelani, smee, backstage crew, fire dances, taniwha, lost tamariki, matariki stars,pirate crew, light and sound, Samoan dance and classes dances and mermaids. directors were miss Macgrath and Mrs Shinn and costumes were Mrs Rai Mrs najack Mrs Mackenzie Mrs wood and Mr Patterson and the photos were taking by the amazing Mala token from here camera. The cultures were two from new Zealand , Tonga, coco island, taukulau, Samoa, nuie and Fiji. There were 2 performances at Waikowhai Intermediate School well night and 1 final one on Friday in the day time at Waikowhai Intermediate. Also we had 2 practices practising at intermediate. It was tirering walking to waikowhai intermediate and back to our school. They made everybody laugh and cheer for us.
The costumes were great and the people were scared and nervous. The people who were acting did a fabulous job especially peter pan and Wendy because they didn't miss up any of their lines.The dances were amazing and the backstage was awesome. You could get photos that the fabulous Mala took and we have a some Dvd's and usb's of the movie up at are office.
maybe when we do another production It will be more awesome and fun,I have a feeling.

Jump Jam

 Hi bloggers, Every week on Friday we do Jump Jam with our Fabulous, Amazing uppity principal Miss McGrath. We do different songs every-week and there is a hole group of senior Jump Jam children that dances.The Jump Jam leaders lead all the people in the school even the teachers.We choose the best teacher who dances best and the best children.We all have house groups that are Birds ruru, tui, pukeko and kea. Some songs we do is follow the leader, happy, boogie on the left, blame it on the boogie and more.Some new songs are party anthem and funky town and there are some songs that were from ages ago in the past like kung fu fighting.here are some photos

Production Thinking Hats

In Term 4, Week 4 we had a production, It was Pasifika Peter Pan. It was different to the normal Peter Pan because it was Pacific. We did some thinking hats - white, yellow, green, black, red and blue. They all have different meanings. White's the information, yellow's the positive,  green's the creative, black is negative, red is feelings and blue is what do we do now. When we finished we had to write it in a document. Cyber smart

Hi blogger's,In class on Wednesdays we always have cyber smart with Gerhad. It was the year 6's and year 5's this week. We had to shorten big sentences to keyword sentences.The big sentences were my three year old cow has blisters on it's tongue.What do I do with it.The other one was can people earn money from tossing pizza dough and the last one was I heard there was a empty town in San Francisco bay what is it called.I shorten them up with these sentences,Cows blister tongue,people earn money tossing dough and empty town in Francisco it's called.What was easy was looking for the photos of the sentences.What was hard was trying to shorten the sentences.I learned that we can write short sentences instead of big sentences.
